Missing Bahasa Indonesia Option / en_ID.qm in Latest Dev Version

Hi developers / community,

I recently updated my local Balloon Translator to the latest dev branch and noticed that the Bahasa Indonesia option is missing from the translator.

When I run the software via the .bat file, the terminal shows this warning:

It seems like the en_ID.qm file is no longer included in the latest version. Previously, in my older setup, this file existed and allowed me to select Bahasa Indonesia as the target language.

I have attached a screenshot of the terminal output for reference.

My questions:

1. Was the en_ID.qm file removed intentionally from the latest dev version?
2. Is there a way to restore the Bahasa Indonesia option?
3. Could you point me to a release or commit where the Bahasa Indonesia UI/translation file is still available?

Umm. Let me explain. The program at startup is set to take the system language and look for the language that it found. In your case, the system language is en_ID, and our program has not been translated into your language. Never in the history of commits

Thanks a lot for your reply! I’m kinda new to coding, so sorry if my question is a bit basic 😅

Here’s my actual issue: in Settings → Translator, there are dropdowns for source & target language. In my old version, Indonesian was available as a target. After updating to the latest dev, it’s gone.

I get that the en_ID.qm warning is just for GUI, not the translator dropdown.
Do you know if Indonesian was removed from the language list, or is there a way to get it back, maybe from an older commit or fork?

Open the translator you need in the editor, for example, google translate
And do this.

self.lang_map ['Malayalam'] = 'ml'
self.lang_map ['Tamil'] = 'ta'
self.lang_map ['Hindi'] = 'hi'
+++ self.lang_map['Indonesia'] = 'id

that is, in fact, add a language pair for your language. Write to me which translators do not have your language in their composition, and if they are supported, I will add them to the list.

Thanks a lot for your help! 🙏 I followed your instructions and now Indonesian shows up in the dropdown and works for translation.

From what I checked, it looks like none of the translators had Indonesian in their language lists by default, so your guidance really helped me add it manually.
