Add badges to dropdown menu items

Navitems have badges today and they look great.

Dropdowns have a space for an icon and a keyboard shortcut today, could we add badges as well with colors similar to the navitem implementation?

Sorta related to #1469 and I agree this would be super useful. I also have the need for a badge at the label position between the label and the dropdown icon to show the current selected item from within the dropdown. (status, filter, etc)
