Minio has recently closed its source, does the official plan to switch to other object storage

Milvus already supports multiple object storage backends. Configure minio.cloudProvider in /configs/milvus.yaml:

• AWS S3: cloudProvider: aws
• Azure Blob: cloudProvider: azure
• Google Cloud Storage: cloudProvider: gcpnative
• Any S3-compatible service: cloudProvider: aws (works with Alibaba OSS, Tencent COS, etc.)

  address: <your-endpoint>
  cloudProvider: aws  # or azure, gcpnative
  useIAM: true
  region: us-east-1
  bucketName: your-bucket

No code changes needed—just update configuration. See implementations in /internal/storage/azure_object_storage.go and /internal/storage/gcp_native_object_storage.go.

we are thinking of adding support of seaweedfs.
RustFS is not production ready now and Ceph is probably to heavy to maintain

but anyway we will stay on current Minio version for the next 3-6 months
