MESH - Business Data Schema - DataContract

Hi Community! Love OMD! @LingamAnitha @harshach

I'm looking for a way to use OMD to collect a Business Data Schema that are not from a Direct database or système connection.
The scenario are around MESH data governance (like DataMESH manager solution).

The use case is:

• Enable a Business-Data TEAM from a Domain to create and publish a BusinessDataSchema that they would be welling to eventually PUBLISH as a Data Product under a REST service.
• Enable that same team to bind DataContrat to that BusinessDataSchema
• Other Users from ALL TEAM (With Access to this Entity) would be able to Search and request the TEAM that owns that "BusinessDataSchema" to make it available as a DataProduct (aka publish a Data Product using a REST Service)

Possible Solutions I can see from my very limited experience on OMD

• Ask the Domaine to open a MOCK-REST Service and bind OMD to that service. (But No native DataContract available Yet)
• use Custom DataBase and use Table, I tried! Can you point the an example. (Not clen for the TEAM that needs to manage this data)
• Build a Custom Data Obj based on "Table" that will let a TEAM from an ORG populate the Schema
