I dipping my toes into the hardware business by building the PokyPow.
An open-source/open hardware device to control your PC via Home Assistant.
Simply power on/off, reset/hard reset, monitor the power on state and have a child lock on the power button of your PC.

I am documenting my experience in my blog.
I built a partnership with Soldered and CrowdSupply for the crowdfunding campaign.
