Feature request: add NVS to "file systems" or a separate explorer

This would greatly help me recover from corrupted NVS data (assuming the partition is good, but the data written is preventing an application for running).

I'm sure you have lots to do, so consider this a polite request if you have a quiet few days sometime.

That’s a really good use case — corrupted NVS taking down an otherwise good app is painful, and ESPConnect is exactly the kind of tool that should help in that scenario.

A proper NVS browser/editor is quite a bit of work because the on-flash format (pages, CRCs, multi-span entries, namespaces, etc.) is fairly involved, and I want to make sure anything I ship can’t silently corrupt data further.

So I’ll treat this as a ‘bigger feature’ on the roadmap rather than a quick tweak, but I absolutely like the idea.

N.B. there is also a Preferences class, which allows you to use some of the NVS as a key-value-store for various types.
That's also stored in the NVS partition.
