Is there a way to sync folders to repo

When added a folder through chezmoi, like chezmoi add ~/.config/nvim, it actually adds all the files in the folder instead of the folder itself. If I create a new file in the folder, it seems I can run chezmoi add ~/.config/nvim again to add new files. But what if I delete a file? I don't want to run add or destroy for each file manually, is there a easy way to just sync the files inside entire folder to repo throgh chezmoi?

If you only want to add the folder you can run

chezmoi add --recursive=false ~/.config/nvim
