This looks like a UNIX permissions issue. Are you sure that the files are owned by you and that you have permission to modify them? You can find files that are not owned by you with the command: For more information on how chezmoi handles file permissions, see https://www.chezmoi.io/user-guide/frequently-asked-questions/design/#why-does-chezmoi-use-weird-filenames. |

Hi, I'd like to start by saying thanks for chezmoi! This is a great tool that I've had a lot of fun playing around with.
I'm trying to manage exegol's my-resources directory and I'm a little bit confused with the way that chezmoi manages file permissions. I can add the directory to chezmoi just fine, but
chezmoi applygives achmod: operation not permittederror.chezmoi diffgives differing permissions like so:I've read through this issue which seems like it might cover what I want to do, but I'm unsure about how these attributes work. It's also possible that I'm missing something, as I'm pretty new to Linux file permissions. What's the best way to go about troubleshooting / working with these files?
