how can I ignore certain files/directories on specific machines?

I have been using dotbot for a while, but I am considering to migrate to chezmoi (templating, password manager access, and encryption are very appealing).

But I can't figure out how to exclude files when on certain machines.
On macOS I am sometimes using VSCode or Zed, so I have their config directories in my dotbot repo as well (and they are only used by dotbot on macOS).
e.g. I have the files settings.json and keybindings.json from the ~/Library/Application Support/Code/User/ directory in my dotbot repo.
However, I certainly do not need those on Linux. I definitely do not want chezmoi to create a ~/Library/Application Support/Code/User/ directory on Linux, when I bootstrap a new user on a new machine from my repo.

How can I do that?
